UNIT 08 [기초 문법] 준동사 - to부정사

1. to부정사란?

명사, 형용사, 부사 역할을 하는 [to + 동사원형] 형태

2. to부정사 형태

to + 동사원형

• To get emails automatically can save your time.
  이메일을 자동으로 받는 것은 당신의 시간을 절약해 줄 수 있다.
• I want to mmet my sister.
  나는 내 여동생을 만나기를 원한다.
• To buy the pan, I will go to the shop. 펜을 사기 위해서 나는 상점에 갈 것이다.

to do N 형태로 외우자.

3. to부정사 역할

1) 명사 (~것)

• To clean the room is good. (주어)
  방을 청소하는 것은 좋다.
• Michael wanted to get my opinion. (목적어)
  마이클은 내 의견을 얻기를 원했다.
• My goal is to become a doctor. (보어)
  나의 목표는 의사가 되는 것이다.

전치사 뒤에는 to부정사가 올 수 없다. ex) on to eat ~~

2) 형용사 (~하는)

• He made efforts.
  그는 노력했다.
• He made efforts to get my opinions. (명사 수식)
  그는 내 의견을 얻기 위해 노력했다.

형용사는 주로 명사 앞에서 꾸미지만, to부정사는 명사 뒤에서 꾸민다.

3) 부사 (~하기 위해서)

• He opened the door to see the dog.
  그는 개를 보기 위해서 문을 열었다.

  개를 보기 위해서 그는 문을 열었다.
